ARNOLD
NEWMAN talks about
Henri Cartier-Bresson:
Henri Cartier-Bresson’s timeless work has
changed photography for ever. His photograph of
Giacometti shows the consummate interaction and
special relationships of objects and people, which
makes his images so masterful.
While our approach and thinking are quite different,
I still take great pleasure in viewing the master’s
beautifully composed works of art. His work is
irreplaceable in the history of photography and
will continue to influence many photographers
in the future.
